Hot skies and cold nights, Part 12 of 31
2013-10-18
Remove R Comic (aka rm -r comic), by Gary Marks:Hot skies and cold nights, Part 12 of 31
Dialog:
Just go north, then west, then south, then west again. It's so easy, a kid could do it.

Panel 1
Jacob: Come on! Where's your sense of adventure?
Panel 2
Jacob: After all, it's Halloween. What could possibly go wrong?
Panel 4
Mandy: Great. Now we're jinxed.
Jase: Well, if we're going to die, we might as well see something exciting.
Cassandra: Three words, giant space balls.
Panel 5
Jacob: Yes!
Panel 6
Samantha: Forget that, I want to live!
Jane: Me too.
Samuel: Ditto.
Hope: Live or die, what ev, I just can't follow someone who fist pumps. No one fist pumps anymore.

I mean, this is as bad as it could possibly get, right?

Panel 1
Hope: I don't know about splitting up. Does that ever work out in the movies?
Panel 2
Jase: That's just a plot device for stories, and it's not like WE'RE in a story.
Panel 4
Hope: Right... right. What WAS I thinking?
Panel 5
Hope: So.. well.. um.. good luck out there. Try not to die.
Jacob: Oh, come on. What's the worst that could happen?
Cassandra: ARGH! Will you just stop jinxing us?!

Panel 1
Jacob: Do you think it's ok that we split up?
Jase: Oh HELL no. I've seen enough movies to know what happens next.
Panel 2
Cassandra: Then why did you agree to split up?
Jase: It was simple for me, either way I'm dead. Just call me token.
Panel 3
Jase: And of course, what better way to die, than checking out a meteor?
Panel 8
Jacob: Does anyone know if we're heading in the right direction?
